Let’s talk about bourbon, or at least some unique bourbon. Angel’s Envy is the latest creation by Lincoln Henderson, Master Distiller. He has made a boubon and finished it in Port Barrels. It is a beauty richly textured, silky, and well-rounded, with ripe berried fruits, candied tangerine, light toffee, maple syrup, and creamy vanilla, sprinkled with spice (cinnamon, hint of mint). Smooth, silky finish, and dangerously drinkable! The port pipe notes dovetail perfectly. Malt Advote gives this 93 points. Since I am not a qualified rater, I say it is definately a buy if you are looking for more depth in your bourbon.
Angel’s Envy will not disappoint anyone looking for a rich full body whiskey.
